Staff review stats
For each person on your team, the review requests sent for customers they served, the reviews that came back and the average rating. For coaching, not quotas.
Staff review stats show, for each person on your team, how the review requests for the customers they served went. They're on the Crew and Group plans, in Analytics. Owners and managers see them.
They're for coaching and for saying thanks. They're not for quotas, targets or ranking people against each other, and Chiffchaff doesn't offer any of those. Google doesn't allow businesses to ask staff to collect a set number of reviews.
What you see
For the dates and location you pick at the top of Analytics, each person gets one line:
- Requests sent: review requests sent for customers they served.
- Reviews: reviews that came from those requests.
- Average: the average stars of those reviews. It shows once someone has 3 reviews, because one unusual visit shouldn't read as a verdict on a person.
- Recent reviews: open it to read the latest few, and open any of them in your reviews inbox.
People are listed by name, never by their numbers.
Recording who served the customer
- Add the people who serve your customers in Settings → Team, if they aren't there yet. They don't need a sign-in.
- When you ask a customer for a review from their page, choose who served them under Served by. It's optional.
- If your requests come from Zapier, map Served By to the staff member's name. It must match a name in Settings → Team: the full name, or a first name only one person has. See Send requests automatically with Zapier.
- If you upload a spreadsheet with Send to a list, match its staff column to Served by. The same name rules apply, and the preview shows who each row records before anything is sent.
You can record who served the customer on any plan, so the history is there if you move to Crew or Group later.
What customers see
Nothing. The review request never names anyone, and customers never see who served them. We never ask a customer to mention a staff member in their review, which Google doesn't allow either.
Why some reviews aren't counted
A review counts when we can tie the reviewer to the request: their public name on Google matches the customer, and they were asked shortly before. Some reviewers use a nickname or initials, so a few reviews from your requests won't show here. The numbers are worked out fresh each time you open the page, from requests and reviews already in Chiffchaff.
Who can see them
Owners and managers. People who sign in with the Staff role don't see anyone's stats, their own included, because a sign-in isn't linked to a name in Settings → Team. See Team and roles.
If you remove someone from Settings → Team, their past requests show as not recorded.
